Women that every year join to screening programs guarantee a high survival rate to cervical cancer.

In developing countries, such as Uganda, the percentage of Hpv infection reaches 85%; the training of personnel in charge of reading the pap smears would be able to significantly reduce the percentage of tumors. 

Dr. Vittoria Lombardo, cytopathologist, a member of the Association La Ruota Internazionale, is organizing a training program for suitable health personnel (citoscreeners), which on site or remotely interpret cytological pictures and allow the care and salvation of African women.
